The service designed proposes a reorganization of the student lunch break at the Politecnico di Milano.
The key activity consists of sharing University Meals by students in home-based support with platform organizing platform (associated with Facebook). The model utilizes students in groups (4 people) and develops within courses and laboratories, exploiting the potential contiguity and the relationships of knowledge or friendship that characterize them. The apprentice, with a competitive point-to-point system, encourages participation, group activity and expanding knowledge in the food business.
The service is collaborative and is based on common interests, combining the search for food varieties and alternative to the homologated offer, culinary interests and the will to save money.

“Instead of just focusing on the installation and control of network hardware, city governments, technology companies and their urban planning consultants can exploit a more ground-up approach to creating smarter cities where people become agents of change.”
(Ratti, 2011)

In a smart city, people, citizens, are the gears of innovation
